We then deliver your timber directly to site, anywhere in the UK.

As our name suggests, Ecochoice were the pioneers in sustainable tropical timber supply in the UK.  20 years ago, there was sufficient awareness of the dangers of deforestation, especially in tropical areas such as the Amazon, but not enough on the solutions available. Our founder Mike Bekin saw first-hand the wonders that FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) forest concessions were achieving in his native Brazil and decided to promote the link that certified timber actually helps to save forests. It’s been a fun ride ever since!

If it’s harvested sustainably we sell it. That includes species from all corners of the world: Ekki, Iroko and Opepe from Africa; Ipe, Greenheart and Cumaru from Brazil; Balau and Meranti from Indonesia; Cedar from Canada; Larch from Siberia, Oak from France, Pine from Sweden, Chestnut from Spain and of course, plenty of home grown timbers too.
